Year 4 'Hands on Science' Incursion

On Thursday 29th and Friday 30th May, our Year 4 students enjoyed participating in their ‘Hands on Science’ Incursion.

The incursion provided the students the opportunity to further build their skills and knowledge in their current inquiry, learning about Physical and Chemical Sciences. Through experiments, students investigated the impact of forces and movement on everyday items by making predictions, testing, collecting data and discussing results. The students particularly enjoyed experimenting with the magnets and how they can repel or attract various elements.  Friction experiments also fascinated and intrigued students with the speed of which items could or could not move.
