Education Week
Our students and staff have had an enjoyable week engaging in activities promoting and celebrating the learning at PLPS throughout Education Week (Monday 18th May to Friday 22nd May).
Yesterday and today, students in years 1 to 6 participated in a crossage collaborative activities. Students worked in small groups and designed a school flag and were challenged to create the tallest flagpole to fly their flag. The project involved collaboration in design and construction and provided opportunities for students to learn with different students and staff. The students have shared that they enjoyed the challenge of the project and working with students from other year levels.
Many students have produced posters showcasing what they love about being at PLPS. These are being displayed around the school for students and families to celebrate. A special edition newsletter will also be produced and posted tomorrow, sharing our highlights with the school community.
