Lions Club Public Speaking Competition
On Sunday, July 26th four of our students competed at the Lions Club Junior Public Speaking Competition.
In the year 3/4 competition students spoke on ‘If you could go on a holiday anywhere in Australia, where would you go and why? What would you see and do there?’ Competing in the year 5/6 competition, students spoke about ‘If you could have dinner with anyone in the world (a real person past or present), who would it be, and why, and what would you serve them for dinner?’
All students were outstanding representatives of PLPS and delivered their speeches confidently. Congratulations to all our students for putting themselves forward and participating in this event. Thank you to Mr Runting for his organisation and support of our students in providing opportunities to participate in these events. Including organisation of our in school public speaking events, supporting students with preparation and attending Sunday’s competition.
